One of the salon’s greatest strengths lies in its consistency and attention to detail—a quality repeatedly emphasized by loyal customers. Anna Binnewies, who has visited for over a decade, praises Aquatica Nails for its “relaxing and clean salon” atmosphere paired with “fair prices” and excellent service. This longevity and trust speak volumes about the salon’s dedication to client satisfaction.
Chau, the owner, is regarded as a true artist and leader by her clientele. Sloane Groenveld calls Aquatica “hands down the best nail spot in the city,” highlighting Chau’s ability to deliver the “straightest and best-looking acrylics” around. The staff, carefully curated by Chau, share her commitment to excellence, which has cultivated a reputation for flawless, natural-looking results that garner compliments time and again.
The personalized experience is further enriched by thoughtful extras, such as complimentary tea and relaxing massage chairs, making every appointment feel like a mini-retreat—something April Potts appreciated during her classic red gel mani-pedi visit. Comfort and care seamlessly blend with technical skill, creating an atmosphere that soothes as much as it beautifies.
Perhaps what truly sets Aquatica Nails apart is their flexibility and kindness. Megan Ellis recounts how the team was not only able to fit her into a busy schedule but also worked magic repairing broken nails right before her bachelorette trip. Simran Baveja shares a story about being squeezed in during a hectic time, receiving impeccable service on very short, bitten-down nails. This level of accommodation and expertise is rare, reflecting genuine passion and client respect.
Stepping into Aquatica Nails, you immediately sense a community where artistry, care, and professionalism converge. Whether you’re indulging in a flawless gel manicure, experimenting with creative nail designs, or simply seeking a trusted neighborhood salon, Aquatica Nails offers a polished experience that leaves you feeling confident, relaxed, and truly cared for.
If you’re in San Francisco and in search of a nail salon that blends technical excellence with a thoughtful personal touch, Aquatica Nails deserves a top spot on your list.
Great neighborhood salon that I’ve been going to on and off for the last 10 years for mani pedis. Lovely owners. Relaxing and clean salon. They do a great job and have fair prices. Highly recommend!
Very kind. Got a classic red gel mani pedi. Offered me tea and the massage chairs here are lovely. Added a photo of my third mani by them. Clean natural looking! Will return. They do a great job here!
Hands down the best nail spot in the city! Owned by the fabulous Chau, it's woman-owned, and they consistently deliver the straightest and best-looking acrylics. I always receive compliments on my nails, and I can't praise this place enough. The staff, hired by Chau, is top-notch. Highly recommended!
I’ve been coming to Aquatica for several years, it’s always my first choice if I’m getting a mani or pedi. They’re kind, consistent, and always do an excellent job. Also great about fitting me into their schedule! Angie truly works magic with nails. Today, I came in with several broken nails and she painlessly transformed them to look absolutely flawless before my bachelorette trip. The owner makes such an effort to remember people/names and always makes me feel so welcome. Aquatica forever!!!
Amazing service! They squeezed me in at a busy time to accommodate my schedule and Chau did a wonderful job. I have super short bitten down natural nails, like extremely short little stubs, and like to get acrylics because it keeps me from biting my nails. However, due to the length of my natural nails, most acrylic sets I’ve gotten start lifting significantly after about 2-2.5 weeks and falling off by 3 weeks. Chau was clear and communicative about what she thought was the best length for the acrylic tips to make them stay on and I followed her expert advice (which paid off!) She was very kind and responsive to any questions or requests, and did great, clean work. It’s been a month since I got them done and I just lost my first tip this morning! No lifting on any of them, even the one that fell off today, they were just really grown out and I was opening a jar. My new favorite neighborhood nail salon :)
My go to nail salon in Richmond. The ladies always do meticulous work. I haven't done dip or design with them but if you are looking for an excellent gel mani or Pedi, this is the spot
My sister and I were in San Francisco for a week, and we looked up multiple nails salons in the area. After reading some reviews about aquatica nails, the one one that stood out was how long the acrylic lasted. We got there, and they were so sweet and courteous to us. The tech who did my nails did an Amazing job! I was so impressed at how beautiful they came out. She made it look like my nail. I was very satisfied and impressed with the outcome. Would definitely recommend anyone to go here. You will not be disappointed.
